I once told my husband that while I appreciated the box of truffles he gave me for Valentine’s Day, I didn’t particularly like truffles. The following October, for my birthday, he gave me a box of truffles. And then another the following Valentine’s Day. (He claims that he can’t remember if I really like them or hate them.)

This past March while I was sitting courtside at the Final Four watching the UConn women’s basketball team prepare for their national semifinal game. I got a text from my husband that asked, “How do you cook a frozen quiche?” I sent him a screen shot from google with the answer. (He claims that google gave too many options.)
